How to Get Followers on Instagram – Step by Step Manual for 10K Followers 2021

Instagram has become one of the important parts of many brands’ social presence, driving profitable traffic to the website, growing conversions, and building an engaged audience.

If your Instagram presence isn’t quite as strong as you’re hoping, it might be time to learn strategies for getting real, organic followers on Instagram.

Step 1: Journey from 0 to 100 Instagram followers

All right, so you’ve got a brand new Instagram account and need some initial engagement.

Recall that you must give them an opportunity if you want people to do something. In this case, a discount for your goods will work just fine for the first 100 followers.

If you have a big enough email list, divide your bid so that you first get a 30% discount for the 100 followings, the next 100 get a 20% discount, and so on so that nobody else will avoid following you later on. But make sure you have a few engaging posts before you send out your email to give a feel for your brand.

You may turn to acquaintances, relatives or colleagues and ask them to follow you if you have no current customer/follower group. This is one of my personal favorites because even without posting any content you can get the first follower base easily (I would always advise you to have at least one entry there to start with, however), and if you are one of those people in a big family and community of friends, you could just get to 100 followers quickly.

If you want (and you should again) to go the extra mile, you can review those 50 followers’ accounts before you follow them, so that they suit your goal audience.

This is the main thing — please ensure that you communicate frequently with the accounts you follow! Like their latest updates, leave comments, react to their stories on Instagram, and/or just write to them a direct message that tells you that you’ve started a new account and would be honored to see them among your first followers.

Step 2: Journey to 1,000 Instagram followers

After the first traction, the following approach gives an additional boost to buy Instagram followers. What you’re doing here:

Identify some of the larger accounts (50k+ fans) close to you or in the same industry with the same target population.

Open up your follower’s list and follow those accounts when the majority of their followers are accurate (I suggest to follow accounts that have a real human in the profile picture, instead of a logo)

Start to check who does not follow you and follow these accounts. There are several applications for Android as well as iOS to do this — just look for it.

Ideally, you can follow at least 20% of the people you have begun to follow. The more you follow, the ‘healthier’ your fans are, the more engaging your feed looks, and the higher the follow-up percentage.

People prefer to pursue Instagram accounts more readily:

  • See the facts.
  • Have more users than follows your account.
  • There are many followers.
  • Have a well-designed posts feed.

You should start to communicate with these broad accounts (unless they are direct competitors) in addition to the following/following approach.

Therefore, try to write something about the title or article — the more personal you are, the better! Please put your own opinion or questions. It will show that you are truly interested in other Instagram users in your culture.

Step 3: Journey to 5,000 Instagram followers

Now that it is time to accelerate faster because you have a strong base for growth. I don’t mean that you need to stop doing what you did before. Even if you have reached the 20,000 followers mark, I think those methods are fantastic. Adding other approaches might, however, yield the same if not better results with less effort.

Firstly, you can begin to use groups of interaction. Increase your Organic Reach in Instagram with Engager Groups if you haven’t heard of them, read this post, learn what engagement groups are and how they are working.

Secondly, to invest in advertisements. Instagram advertisements are going to be very useful at this stage if you are creating a brand (and not just sharing pictures of your cat).

Thirdly, start preparing your Instagram posts certainly. Each minute you get into your Instagram counts, once you have reached this point. See this Guide for Hopper HQ programming, step by step.

You can either promote your current posts or connect to Facebook and create an ad from the Ad Manager panel on Facebook. Try various targeting options and check which Instagram followers you get the fastest or the fastest (depends on the post and goal).

I would recommend that you make short video advertisements and pick Instagram Stories as your ad placement. This is still a relatively underutilized placement, which will most likely yield better than ordinary feed posts.

Step 4: Journey to 10,000 Instagram followers

This number is so high as to not fit in the allocated room, thus it is reduced to 10k followers.

You also get the great benefit that you can add links to your Instagram posts. This offers you a wonderful chance for your Instagram account to start monetizing. Here is an article on how to do this by e-mail: How to get Instagram monetized.

Keep doing what you’ve done so far to make Instagram followers. Of course, if it seems anything doesn’t return, stop doing it and concentrate on things that have the greatest effect! At each point of this guide, you can revisit your Instagram marketing plan to ensure that you keep in touch!

Tag friends

One of the easiest ways to get people to help your content is to only ask their friends to get tagged. This can be done with any message. It fits well with emotionally strong material – quotes, funny images, animal posts, etc. Something like “Tag a friend,” “Tag someone who inspires you” and “Tag someone who should do this” can be included in your postal title, etc.

Host a giveaway

Give a reward that cannot be refused to your fans! It can include books, toys, hats, gift cards for Amazon, a product you are selling, etc. Here’s an article on how to run an Instagram competition in case you are interested. I won’t go into too many specifics on this.
